What Safa is
Safa is Arada’s apartment project for people who want sport on the doorstep. Arada launched it at the ACRES property show on 22 January 2025 with five buildings and 660 smart homes of 1 to 3 bedrooms, and offered 50% off registration fees during the launch period. It has since been sold in two releases on the portals: Safa 1 and Safa Parkview, which went on sale on 14 March 2026.
On 12 March 2026 Arada gave China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group a 26-month contract for the five Safa buildings, alongside five at Nesba, with delivery in Q2 2028. That is Arada’s latest stated date. Property Finder still shows September 2027 for Safa 1 and December 2027 for Safa Parkview.
Where it sits: West Boulevard, the sports park and Raffles
Safa is on West Boulevard, with direct access to the Aljada sports park. The park is planned on a 400,000 sq ft site with a full-size football pitch, 5-a-side pitches, padel, basketball and volleyball courts, cycling and jogging tracks, water play and two floors of underground parking. Arada awarded the AED 145 million contract in November 2025 and targets handover by the end of 2026. It is not open yet.
Raffles World Academy Sharjah is about two minutes’ walk away, according to Arada. The school officially opened on 10 September 2026. It teaches Pre-K to Grade 8 for now and will add a grade each year up to Grade 12. Its founder fees for 2026–27 run from AED 40,000 to AED 64,000 a year, subject to SPEA approval.
The Gate 5 and 6 are being built at the West Boulevard entrance nearby. We haven’t found a published list of shops or restaurants on West Boulevard, so for now East Boulevard remains Aljada’s main retail street.

Prices and payment plan
Two sets of prices are in circulation. Arada’s Aljada page lists Safa from AED 1,064,000 for 1 BR, AED 1,497,000 for 2 BR and AED 2,432,000 for 3 BR, but doesn’t say when those prices were set. Property Finder lists Safa 1 at AED 1,581,000, AED 1,606,000 and AED 2,363,000, and Safa Parkview from AED 1,582,000. Until Arada publishes a dated price sheet, treat both as indications and ask for a written quote.
The plan is 5/30/65: 5% down, 30% during construction and 65% on completion. Most of the price is due at handover, so plan for that payment early.
An earlier version of this page described Safa as ready studios and 1 to 2 bedroom homes from AED 490,000 with an 8% yield. Safa is off-plan, has no studios and runs to 3 bedrooms.
Who it suits
Safa suits families who want Raffles within walking distance and buyers who plan to use the sports park, and who can wait until 2028 or later. That wait could stretch. Sokoon and Il Teatro Residences were both planned for end-2024 and handed over in March and April 2026, and in August 2026 Arada said war-linked supply problems had delayed some construction.
